Itinerary 

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our company representative who will transfer you to accommodation that has been booked for you, he will meet greet and brief you on the itinerary for the next seven days in Uganda, relax and enjoy the pearl of Africa. Staying overnight at

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.

We will have a morning breakfast after which transfer towards western Uganda to Kibale Forest National Park, it is in of the few remaining tropical rain forests of east Africa hosting 13:primate species inclusive of other forest creatures like forest elephants and the giant forest hogs, it takes approximately +/-5 hours to arrive at the destination passing through beautiful villages and small towns, arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon community visit, the women empowerment center does beautiful crafts, weave baskets, returning for dinner and staying overnight at

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp Walk

Morning breakfast after which we will transfer to the Kanyanchu visitor center for a morning briefing,, in groups you will be led through the forest to experience what nature has to offer Morning breakfast after which we will assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing, on the does and don’ts while with the primates, led through by the Uganda Wildlife Authority in a group you will begin the tracking, it takes 2 -3 hours, the primates are so loud in that you will hear them at a distance,  in the trees look out for other species like the black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, olive baboons, red colobus monkeys. You will learn so much about this forest Inclusive of the tree species, returning to meet your guide, lunch at the lodge and an afternoon Bigodi swamp walk, the swamp exhibits a rich ecosystem, sights include those of birds and butterflies.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Following breakfast, we will transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park, this is one of the few remaining places to meet the Mountain gorilla species they roam freely within the ecosystem without being captivated, it hosts half population of the primates, we will pass through the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park Ishasha for tree climbing Lions look through the fig trees ,on lucky day spotting them is easy but on other days they require an eagles eye, arriving at the Lodge for dinner and staying overnight at

Buhoma Lodge.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking Experience and Batwa Community

We will have morning breakfast after which transfer to the park headquarter  for a briefing before we head into the forest, tracking is done in groups of eight per gorilla family , led through by a Uganda wildlife authority ranger, the terrain of the park may seem tough but so rewarding by the end of the day, as you meet the gentle species all this will feed away as main focus will be on the primates are led by a male silverback and enjoy living in Families of up to 20 members. Returning to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon Buninga forest walk to the Batwa community.

Day 6: Community Visit and Afternoon Relaxation at the Lodge

Following breakfast you will head out to the community, experience the life of the people of the western Uganda, walking through their farm lands, you will interact with the community and get to know so many things about Uganda, returning to the lodge for an afternoon relaxation treat yourself to a massage while you have freshness of the forest, the lodge will organize for you a beautiful dinner at

Buhoma Lodge.

Day 7: Departure

Early morning breakfast after which we will drive downhill to through the slopes of the Kigezi highlands, arriving in time for your international flight back home.
