Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will meet greet and transfer you to Nyungwe Forest National Park. The drive takes approximately 6 hours to arrive at the destination stopover enroute at Nyanza province to exhibit through the old palace of the King. Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking
We will have an early morning breakfast after which we will transfer to the Uwinka Visitor Center for a briefing from the park rangers, later in groups you will head into the forest for the days event it takes 2-3hours to find the special species. They love nesting up in the tree canopies a make loud charter noise hearing them at distance is much easy. The guide will tell you so much about the forest and the Chimpanzee at large, while here look out for more primates types like the black and white colobus monkeys, L’hoest monkeys, blue-tailed monkeys, to mention a few.
