Detailed Itinerary 

Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will transfer you to Accommodation that has been booked, he or she will meet and greet you and allow you to refresh before beginning the city tour, we will visit the Rwanda museum for the old historical artefacts of the people of Rwanda’, take a tour at Kigali Genocide Memorial where thousands of people lost their lives as a result of the 1994 genocide, there are preserved skulls of men, women, children, names and personal belongings of the war victims, take a visit to the local market and experience the local fresh products we will return for dinner and staying overnight at the

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

We will have a morning breakfast after which transfer to Volcanoes National Park, the backdrop of the rolling mountains is such a beautiful display, the drive takes approximately -/+2 hours this is the closest park to the capital city we will arrive in time to check in at the lodge and enjoy an afternoon entertainment from the Iby’iwacu community they are said to have been poachers initially but learned to appreciate tourism, these will give you Queenly and Kingly treat when you visit the Rwanda people, these showcase the culture through traditional songs, drumming and dances, guests can participate in the dancing depending on choice returning for dinner and staying overnight at

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking

Morning Breakfast, after which we will head to the park headquarters, these are the beginning points for the great African experience, trekkers will be briefed after which we head into the forest, each gorilla family is tracked in groups of eight, these have been habituated to contain human presence, they live in families of up to 20 members depending on far the gorillas have moved it can take up to the whole day searching for the gentle species, the walk through the forest is a scenic one, look out for other primates on a lucky day you will be changed to see unique residents of the park, an hour is allowed while with the primates, returning for dinner and staying overnight at

Day 4: Golden Monkey Tracking

Following a mouth-watering breakfast, you will re-assemble at the park headquarters this time round for the golden monkey experience, the hike to the primates is less tiring as the Golden monkeys love to live around the sloppy mountainsides in the bamboo forest, they are so beautiful and eye-catching with their golden brown fur, what differentiates the Monkeys from others is their noses facing upwards and distinctive colour, they are quite fast and if you must take pictures it is important to set your camera ready, their long tails are sometimes tucked and rolled around the bamboo, just like the gorillas they allow an hour with the primates after which you return to meet your guide who will transfer you to the lodge for dinner and afternoon relaxation.

Day 5: Departure

We will have tea or coffee and a meal to fill our tummies after which we will return to Kigali for our international flight back home.
